Tre Galli Gelato Caffe in New Westminster

Ice cream fanatic here. Almost a tradition for locals. Sunny day?, go for a walk at the key and get a Gelato. Sure, everyone should try that. If you are <12 or you have kids you'll be fine. Now, if you actually like Ice-cream and Gelato: Skip this place. Prices are high for what you get: which is pretty much a cold ball of cream with flavoured Walmart syrup. Flavours are far from authentic and cones taste old or like fridge. Since there is not many dessert places in the area, you will be in line for at least 20mins. Still, bring your kids for a sugar rush, support the new west businesses.

Awesome display of gelato flavours and a good list of drinks

We often come here to grab a coffee and support small local business. It's a busy cafe that serves artisan coffee and gelato . Coffee is usually consistent in taste. Staff is usually courteous.

Really bad pizzas, they're not even trying, its worse than Domino's. The gelato is decent though.

Gelato is my favourite place! It's the best Cafe for ice cream with a great selection. Their coffee is also delicious, excellent service and friendly service!

Good gelato. I went on a rainy day but I can imagine the beautiful view of the river had it been nice out

Americano was good. They use Lavazza which is one of my favorite brand when it comes to coffee.

If your in the area no matter the weather it's a great place to grab a snack, friendly staff and great prices. Just abit out of the way unless your visiting the building

Unfriendly cashier/barista, bad service and overpriced "tre galli frappe" which I thought for $7+ it would have been something special/unique but was nothing more than 2 scoops (maybe) of ice cream blended with a bit of espresso coffee (I think, I can't say I saw them add it). The least they could have done to make it work the $7+ cost is top it off with a bit of whip cream and make it look special. but all it looked like was a chocolate milkshake. Very disappointing!

Gross. I guess that is why you dont have free samples. No Itallians here lol.

Great coffee and delicious gelato. A perfect treat either way.

Disappointed with the service. Looked like they encourage another customer who ordered 2 people after us to take one of our coffee which means that we had to wait extra long for our last coffee and then to be told that they ran out of cups so gave us coffee in a take away cup. No apologies from staff for the wait, just a ‘he ordered latte too’. To the guy who stole our coffee, you aided in this bad review.

Nice little cafe located inside the River Market. Despite being a small place, there's many drinks to choose from.The coffee was really good.

I Ordered A Dark Roast Coffee and it was Absolutely Delicious! Right by the Fraser River it is a Nice Place to Stop by in the Afternoon when the sun's out

Had a London fog and a sit by the window. View is great, Fog is respectable (I'd rate it at🍍🍍).

The caffè had a very nice vibe and smell to it. I enjoyed the ice cream and the place was very clean. Shoutout to this kid named Marco for helping me clean up when i spilled my coffee.

Indoors or out, Tre Galli is great for a coffee or gelato treat after Zumba workout on a Sunday at New Westminster Quay@

So nice having gelato on a nice, hot day! They let you sample flavors. They have a good variety of flavors.

Great 👍👍 Italian style coffee! So much better than Starbucks.

Great cafe in River Market, they serve tasty gelato and all sorts of coffee. If you sit inside the cafe, you have a great view of the boardwalk and the river... A nice way to people watch and talk with friends.

Great place with very different flavors you can't find anywhere else!

It's my goto spot in new west. Excellent service, amazing gelato (i will try them all eventually), great coffee, great atmosphere and lovely dog spotting views. I would stay here forever if they had better wifi though.

Terrible service....popped in while they were not quite open to ask a question and the only person there screamed at me and said that she was calling Security. I am a female with grey hair....totally non-threatening! Needless to say, I will NEVER be popping in to try your gelato... Sept. 26/19.

The ice cream is nice to have in summer beside the quay, but it melts so quickly, it’s not something that I would be craving for!

Great little Italian cafe, we got the pizza and a panini and they were delicious! There was a massive line when we got there but it was well worth the wait. 90% of people got the gelato so im assuming it was good also.

This place was right next door to Wildrice Restaurant and we decided to check it out. No disappointment here. Great tasting Gelato and service was good. We had our desert on the outside patio over looking the Fraser River and it was a perfect setting. If your ever in New Westminster by the river come try this guys out!
